It’s our pleasure to introduce you to the hard-working and dedicated team behind Learn to Hope.
Founder, Analyst and Resident Trainer
Learn to Hope (LTH) was founded by Sean Taylor in May 2017. He has worked in the heart of the housing sector for almost 25 years and understands the needs of Social Landlords and the importance of delivering results. Specialising in income management and performance and data analysis, Sean works for a leading Housing Association and devotes his spare time to training residents.
Executive and Operational Director
Neehara has worked across social housing for over 25 years and was previously a Director of Housing delivering housing management and customer services for a portfolio of 32,000 properties and 250 staff.
With a Masters in Management Studies, Neehara excels at blending commercial enterprise and social interest, and is keen to provide real jobs for residents:
“We want to create more opportunities for local residents who possess all the potential organisations need. Landlords often spend their resources on more traditional areas, and wonder why little changes. We’re ready to solve that problem.”
Non-Executive Director and Resident Trainer
Nehal has extensive experience working within the public sector and heads up the income services for a London Council. He specialises in income recovery, strategic management planning, statistical analysis, performance management, leadership training, debt recovery and change management as well as project management.
With a Masters in Science Management and a Bachelors in Statistics, Nehal helps train residents, assists with planning and helps to provide our statistical analysis services.
Customer Service Advisor and Team Assistant
Carly was our very first resident trainee and now works for Learn to Hope on a part-time basis.
In addition to her administrative role with us, Carly makes low-level arrears calls on behalf of clients and, although her hours are currently limited by ill-health and two young children, she is an exceptional Customer Service Advisor.
Customer Service Officer and Resident Trainer
Paul Lewis is one of several very accomplished housing professionals that help deliver client services and train residents. He has nearly 20 years of social housing experience and was, until 2010, the Arrears Prevention & Financial Inclusion Manager for a large Merseyside Housing Association.
Unfortunately, Paul had a serious accident which severely restricts his mobility and he eventually had to stop working on the grounds of ill-health. However, working from home for Learn to Hope has totally restored his career.
